The Mayfair

The Mayfair Theatre and the Academy Hotel are two Baltimore landmarks dating from the turn of the 19th century. The Mayfair is the last remnant of a once flourishing theatre district. Home to movies, famous boxing matches, and live entertainment for nearly 80 years, its revitalization will herald a new dawn for the area between the residential Mount Vernon District and the expanding Central Business District. Leveraging the high-traffic westbound Franklin Street and the north-south light rail, Accent will transform these two signature buildings into approximately 21,000 SF of prime retail, 52 residential units, and 52 parking spaces.
