BDC Receives Seven Proposals in Response to Expression of Interest For New Baltimore Arena
Baltimore, MD (November 13, 2007) – The Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) today announced that, on behalf of the City of Baltimore, it has received seven proposals in response to a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) for construction of a new Baltimore Arena.
The REOI was issued in July, 2007 for qualified development teams to submit proposals for the financing, design and construction of a new arena to be located within the City of Baltimore, either on the site of the current facility or on a new site that would be proposed by the team.
The following development teams listed in alphabetical order, responded:

BDC President M.J. “Jay” Brodie said that, “The City appreciates the considerable interest shown by the responses in the development of a new Arena.” He noted also that an Advisory Panel will assist BDC in reviewing the proposals.
